Two Joint Systems Built for Different Parts of a Drainage Run
A drainage system is not one uniform job. Different sections of pipe face different stresses, and Kasta SWR pipes account for that with two distinct joint systems.
Sel-fit uses a solvent cement joint, one end of the pipe or fitting plain, the other with a socket, creating a permanent, fully bonded connection. This is the right choice for buried and horizontal drainage runs, where the pipe is not expected to move once installed and needs to withstand ongoing external pressure without failing.
Ring-O-Socket uses a grooved socket fitted with an EPDM rubber ring, what we call the Duro Ring, joined with a rubber lubricant instead of solvent cement. This joint is specifically designed to accommodate thermal expansion, which is exactly what shaft and vertical drainage lines experience as temperatures shift throughout the day. A rigid bonded joint would develop stress over time in this kind of application. A rubber-ring joint flexes with it instead.
Both systems are manufactured to IS 13592-2013 for the pipe and IS 14735-1999 for the fittings, giving you certified performance regardless of which part of the building the drainage line runs through.
A Complete Fittings Range, Not Just Pipe

For fixture drainage, we make P-Traps for sinks and basins, and Nahani Traps for floor-level drains, available both with and without a Jali (perforated cover and strainer) to keep debris out and prevent blockages before they start.
For outdoor and at-grade collection points, our Gully Trap with Jali handles combined waste water from multiple sources before it enters the underground line, while our Multi Floor Trap manages waste water from several nearby fixtures converging into a single drainage point, reducing the number of floor penetrations needed in a bathroom or utility area.
For system ventilation, Vent Cowls sit at the top of vent pipes above roof level, letting air into the system to prevent trap water seals from being siphoned out, while also keeping rain and debris out of the vent stack.
For maintenance access, our Door fittings, including Door Bend, Door Tee, and Double Y with Door, come with a removable access panel built directly into the fitting, so a blockage can be cleared without cutting into finished walls or floors.
