I was ready to find it a bit theme-park-ish and move on. And there is that version of it, sure. But we spent a slow afternoon on the quieter end of the beach, no agenda, just sitting — and it was genuinely lovely. The Singapore trip packages that include a Sentosa night rather than just a day visit make a real difference. Something about waking up there changes the feel of it entirely.
